Svante is a rapidly growing clean energy technology company making commercial-scale carbon capture and removal a reality. We are expanding our operations to meet the global demand for Carbon Dioxide capture products, and we need an experienced Manufacturing Control Engineer to join our team.

Role Overview

This role plays a critical part in creating world-class, high-volume manufacturing plants for Svante's structured adsorbent beds (SAB). You will work closely with our Product Design Engineering, Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to bring components from initial design through prototype development and into full production.

Responsibilities
  • Refine and improve existing processes, as well as support the development of new automation equipment and assembly lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of components and processes.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and equipment to improve efficiency and reduce machinery downtime.
  • Research and implement potential new equipment for manufacturing.
  • Implement reliable safety control systems for safeguarding robots, gantries, conveyors, and other high-volume manufacturing equipment.
  • Evaluate opportunities for improving factory operations by leveraging advanced data analytics.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or Electrical/Controls Engineering.
  2. + years of experience as a hands-on Controls Engineer or Applications Engineer working on automation and/or manufacturing processes.
  3. Experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley preferred), HMI, and RSLOGIX software.
  4. Experience with data collection and visualization software mainly Ignition.
  5. Ability to create technical specifications for automated manufacturing equipment.
  6. Familiarity with data-driven approaches such as supervised machine learning for optimizing sequential, process, discrete, drive, or motion control.
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
