Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year



Job Description:


This role involves designing manufacturing processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. As a Manufacturing Process Optimization Engineer, you will participate in the development of new products and components incorporating the latest technological solutions.


You will work closely with Product Engineering to improve existing processes and implement new methodologies, such as lean manufacturing, statistical process control (Six Sigma), and other initiatives to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.


Responsibilities include investigating production issues, performing root cause analysis, and developing corrective actions to address quality or process problems.


You will also be responsible for analyzing manufacturing processes and equipment to improve efficiency and reduce machinery downtime, researching and implementing potential new equipment for manufacturing.


Additionally, you will learn reliable safety control systems for safeguarding automated equipment and maintain process control documentation.



Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Possess an undergraduate degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or similar field.
  • Be proficient in MS Office, SolidWorks/Creo, or other CAD software.
  • HAVE knowledge of process validation and quality management systems.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing process development and/or automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
