">This role plays a critical part in creating world-class, high-volume Industry manufacturing plants for Svante as it expands to meet the global demand for Carbon Dioxide capture products (Structured Adsorbent Beds – SAB).
">Responsibilities
">- ">
- Refine and improve existing processes and support the development of new automation equipment/assembly lines.">
- Work with cross-functional teams throughout the entire life cycle of the product and processes.">
- Create technical specifications for automated manufacturing equipment.">
- Implement reliable safety control systems for safeguarding robots, gantries, conveyors, and other high volume manufacturing equipment.">
- Evaluate opportunities to improve factory operations by leveraging advanced data analytics, such as IoT machine learning.">
Requirements
">- ">
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or Electrical/Controls Engineering.">
- At least 2 years of experience as a hands-on Controls Engineer or Applications Engineer working on automation and/or manufacturing processes.">
- Experience with PLC Programming (Allen Bradley preferred), HMI, and RSLOGIX software.">
- Experience with data collection and visualization software mainly Ignition.">
- Experience with Vision and Sensing systems (Cognex, Keyence).">
What Success Looks Like in This Role

- Participate in initial equipment conceptual development and balance product specifications, process control requirements, layout complexity, cost, quality, and lead-time limits.">
- Implement and support hardware and software for PLC & HMI controls for industrial automation equipment.">
- Analyze manufacturing processes and equipment to improve efficiency and reduce machinery downtime.">
- Research and implement potential new equipment for manufacturing.">
Benefits
">Competitive salary range: $100,000 - $140,000 per year.
