About the Role

As a Senior Associate in our Technology and Innovation Banking team, you will play a key role in driving business growth and development in the technology and innovation segments. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing expert advice to help them achieve their goals.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
  • Product and Service Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on Scotiabank's product and service offerings, and use this knowledge to provide clients with tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Industry Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the technology and innovation industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including colleagues and management, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Undergraduate degree in business, economics, technology, sciences, or related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in business banking, technology, or innovation.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
