About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Olivier Honda Bathurst. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional repair and maintenance services for our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in automotive systems.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance services to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Verify that repaired systems meet manufacturer's specifications.
  • Complete Reports: Accurately document problems and work performed on vehicles.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Certifications: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate.
  • Specializations: Engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, diagnostics, alignment, steering and suspension, brake system, fuel and emission system, ignition and electrical system, automatic transmission, standard transmission, engine repair and overhaul, welding, machining, front end components, HVAC system.
