About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Olivier Honda Bathurst. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and repair work on our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance services to prevent mechanical issues and ensure vehicles are running smoothly.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Complete Reports: Accurately complete reports to record problems and work performed, providing valuable insights for future repairs.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: Experience as an Automotive Service Technician is an asset.
  • Certifications: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification and Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate.
  • Specializations: Engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, diagnostics, alignment, steering and suspension, brake system, fuel and emission system, ignition and electrical system, automatic transmission, standard transmission, engine repair and overhaul, welding, and machining.
