About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Olivier Honda Bathurst. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in automotive systems.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance services to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Verify that repaired systems meet manufacturer's specifications.
  • Complete Reports: Accurately document problems and work performed for record-keeping purposes.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification: Possess a valid certification in automotive service technology.
  • Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate: Hold a certificate in motor vehicle inspection.
  • Strong Technical Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, diagnostics, and more.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with customers and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
