About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Aarons Automotive INC. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing parts and components, and performing scheduled maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units and test them to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Adjust and Repair Parts and Components: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Services: Perform routine maintenance services on vehicles to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Complete Reports and Records: Complete reports and records to document problems and work performed.
  • Coach and Instruct Apprentices: Coach and instruct apprentices in the art of automotive repair and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification: Possess a valid Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate: Possess a valid Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate.
  • 2 Years of Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience in the field of automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity.
