Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Quality Control Supervisor to join our team at Seaspan. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control process for electrical systems and ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of quality control inspectors to ensure that all electrical systems are inspected and tested in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures to ensure that all electrical systems meet the required standards of quality and safety.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that all electrical systems are in compliance with contract requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all electrical systems are properly installed and tested.
  • Develop and maintain quality control records and reports to ensure that all electrical systems are properly documented and tracked.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to quality control inspectors and other team members as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in quality control and assurance.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in a quality control or assurance role, preferably in the electrical industry.
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as electrical engineering or quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
