About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at Sushi Hiro Japanese Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes to our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including sushi and other Japanese cuisine specialties.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory and records.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure timely and high-quality food service.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
