About the Role

Fusion Sushi is seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook sushi dishes to order, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Order and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement new menu items and specials to drive sales and customer engagement.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a sushi chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and ingredients.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
