Job Summary

Berthiaume Service Centre is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial transport truck systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including engine repair and maintenance.
  • Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, Automotive Service Technician (Fuel and Electrical Systems) Trade Certification, and Automotive Service Technician (Steering, Suspension and Brakes) Trade Certification.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
