We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 13025721 CANADA INC. as a key member of our culinary team.
Job Summary:The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menus to ensure a high level of culinary excellence.
- Ensure that all food meets quality standards and is presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Recruit and hire staff as needed to maintain a high-performing kitchen team.
- Plan and manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
- 1-2 years of experience as a chef or in a related culinary role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
