About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our Group Retirement team at NFP Corp. As a key member of our team, you will work autonomously and collaboratively with consultants and analysts to service the retirement block of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with scheduling and content creation of retirement plan governance reviews
  • Support the creation of investment reviews and market updates
  • Implement and amend programs with insurance carriers on behalf of clients
  • Prepare for and participate in employee presentations, meetings, and benefit fairs
  • Provide ongoing support to Plan Administrators regarding retirement plan administration
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities by suggesting additional lines of coverage, cross-selling to Property and Casualty lines, and Wealth Management departments

Requirements

  • LLQP (Life License Qualification Program) is an asset
  • Completion of AMF examinations (Quebec) is an asset
  • Bilingual
  • Investment knowledge is an asset
  • Typically, 4+ years of experience in the group insurance industry, specifically in group retirement services
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including business writing skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, including strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage workload under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with the team
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
