About the Role:


The IT Manager, Digital Product Delivery, will lead the delivery of new digital products, features, and experiences in line with the priorities and strategies of the Commercial organization and supported Lines of Businesses. This role will be responsible for leading a cross-functional Digital Product team in shipping new development and continuous improvement opportunities across the customer journey.



Key Responsibilities:


Strategy and Business Planning:



  • Work with Product Owners, Enterprise Architect, and other peers to determine the overall strategic direction and business contribution of the Digital Product roadmap.
  • Prioritize and coordinate various initiatives across the Commercial Technology stack to accelerate new feature releases and adoption across markets.
  • Lead Product Increment planning to align development to business goals with clear vision on the user experience and business impact.
  • Support resource planning and allocation across the platform teams to ensure the team has the right capacity and capabilities to achieve its vision.
  • Conduct landscape assessments on latest technology trends to expand capabilities and plans 'Proof of Concept' to assess fit for purpose and needs.
  • Pursue new business opportunities and take quick action to bring them into reality.


Product Delivery and Performance:



  • Own the overall product delivery, providing visibility into delivery targets, commitments, issue/risks, and progress to achieve Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications across organizational teams, stakeholders, and sponsors.
  • Lead daily stand-ups, sprints, and retrospective meetings to help teams implement change effectively.
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.
  • Quickly resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that may occur.
  • Partner with Product Owners to handle new requests and backlogs.
  • Create new business specifications, process/data flow diagrams, and charts to provide direction to in-house teams and/or agency partners.


People and Culture:



  • Create a continuous learning environment, identifying ways to learn from one another to strengthen the team's bond and sense of ownership.
  • Build best practices and training to further the Agile mindset, principles, and values across the organization.
  • Drive the organization toward greater enterprise agility through identifying and partnering with other departments to address organizational impediments.


Requirements:



  • Proven track record of taking a digital product from ideation through planning, implementation, launch, and handoff to operations.
  • Experienced in leading Agile ceremonies (PI planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensuring all stakeholders are updated in a timely manner.
  • Ability to quickly break down ambiguous problems, identify risks/root causes, and produce an approach to problem investigation and resolution.
  • Skilled in communicating complex challenges, risks, and options analysis in a clear and concise presentation.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop others in a cross-functional environment (Product Owners, IT Platform Leads, IT Security, 3rd Party Vendors).
  • Develops strong relationships across all partners, functions, and management levels, generating continuous collaboration, iteration, input, and buy-in from others.
  • Delivers results while managing multiple priorities with lean resources in a dynamic and ever-changing environment; resilient and can operate autonomously.
