We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quoting Professional to join our team at LGC Group. As a key member of our commercial operations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while providing accurate and timely quotations.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will be working closely with internal departments to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination. Your expertise in quotation management will enable us to deliver high-quality services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Identify products requested by customers based on their inquiry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for quote creation, maintaining excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Issue pricing on catalogue, non-bulk catalogue products, and solutions, showcasing your understanding of our product portfolio.
- Draft pricing on bulk and custom products, demonstrating your ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Input quotations into our database, including customer profiles, pricing, availability, minimum order quantities, payment terms, special tests, and shipping charges.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to follow up on high-value opportunities, driving business growth and revenue.
- Answer customer phone calls, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Educate customers on our products and services, promoting our offerings and building brand awareness.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or related discipline.
- 2-3 years' experience working in a customer service role or equivalent, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in the chemical industry would be an asset, but not mandatory.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs and FileMaker Pro, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication, time management, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
