About the Role

The University of Regina's Faculty of Social Work is seeking a qualified candidate for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching at the BSW and MSW levels, conducting research, supervising graduate students, and contributing to the administrative structure of the Faculty.

Responsibilities

  • Teach social work courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Conduct research in social work practice, education, or policy
  • Supervise graduate students in their research projects
  • Participate in the administrative structure of the Faculty

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Social Work or a related area, with a record of research and teaching in social work practice, education, or policy. A completed PhD is preferred, but all but dissertation (ABD) will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching and research in social work
  • Strong research and teaching skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty members and staff
