Key Responsibilities
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve vendor performance and reduce risk.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination with vendors.
  • Monitor and report on vendor performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with Scotiabank's procurement policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
