Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vendor Manager I to join our team at TD. As a key member of our procurement and vendor management team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with TD's policies and procedures, and providing exceptional customer service to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with TD's policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business unit leaders, finance partners, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of vendor management strategies and policies.
  • Monitor and analyze vendor performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure that all vendor-related activities are conducted in accordance with TD's policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including sourcing, finance, and technology, to ensure seamless vendor management processes.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a business or banking environment, with a focus on procurement, vendor management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
