The Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational management for patient care units. This role ensures high-quality patient care through clinical leadership, mentoring, coaching, and performance management of staff. The Clinical Operations Manager is accountable for implementing and sustaining collaborative care and appropriate scope of practice in clinical operations that support quality clinical performance and safe clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve comprehensive and integrated care planning
  • Promote the development of clinical practice quality improvements
  • Implement evidence-based practice and critically assess, evaluate, anticipate, and address risks to patient and staff safety
  • Lead the implementation of provincial, zone, and local clinical and operational priorities and initiatives at the unit level
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing and demonstrated experience in a leadership role. Experience in perinatal nursing, specifically postpartum care, is an asset.
