The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is seeking a Casual Secretarial/Clerical Support Staff to provide clerical and secretarial support for the efficient operation of school offices and Board Offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks, including data entry, typing, and other office duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clerical and secretarial support to school offices and Board Offices
- Perform data entry, typing, and other office duties
- Assist with various administrative tasks, including bookkeeping and budgeting
- Provide exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
Requirements:
- Secondary School Graduation Diploma
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office (all applications)
- Expertise in the use of computer technology (e.g. email, spreadsheets, and internet applications)
- Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of recent working experience in an office environment
- Bookkeeping and budget skills
- Familiarity with School Board regulations/policies and procedures
- Reception/Switchboard experience
- Ability to adapt to changing and different environments
