Salesforce Functional Analyst Job Description

As a Salesforce Functional Analyst at Solution SFT, you will play a vital role in the successful implementation and optimization of Salesforce solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and end-users to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure the Salesforce platform meets our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in projects as the Salesforce expert, providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and configuring system or procedures that are cost-effective and meet the requirements.
  • Define innovative solutions to improve usage of Salesforce and support business requirements, translating business requirements into clear system specifications for developers.
  • Design test strategy and test plans based upon requirements and participate in their execution, analyzing complex business problems to be solved with Salesforce system.
  • Configure systems settings and options, plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing, and create specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
  • May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business system issues, able to identify key business requirements with minimal information by quickly identifying key players and asking the right questions.
  • Acts as an advisor to 3rd party integrators, understands all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to the Salesforce release upgrades.
  • Communicates regularly with the Salesforce designated super users to support them in their role and provide information and training on new features and functionality.
  • Maintains at least high-level familiarity with other IT system/business application capabilities in order to make recommendations about potential upstream/downstream integration or functionality intersection points.
  • Serves as key liaison with IT technical resources, maintain and communicate system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity.
