Salesforce Functional Analyst

As a key member of our team at Solution SFT, you will play a vital role in the successful implementation and optimization of Salesforce solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and end-users to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure the Salesforce platform meets our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Participation: Participate in projects as the Salesforce expert, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Innovative Solutions: Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve the usage of Salesforce and support business requirements.
  • Requirements Translation: Translate business requirements into clear system specifications for developers, ensuring seamless integration and effective solution delivery.
  • Test Strategy: Design and execute test strategies and plans based on requirements, ensuring thorough testing and validation of Salesforce solutions.
  • Business Analysis: Analyze complex business problems and provide technical expertise to identify, evaluate, and configure cost-effective solutions that meet business requirements.
  • System Configuration: Configure systems settings and options, plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing, and create specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to address business system issues, providing guidance and expertise to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Business Requirements: Identify key business requirements with minimal information, quickly identifying key players and asking the right questions to ensure effective solution delivery.
  • Advisor Role: Act as an advisor to 3rd party integrators, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure successful integration and solution delivery.
  • Technical Capabilities: Understand all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including changes and potential system implications related to Salesforce release upgrades.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with Salesforce designated super users to support them in their role, provide information and training on new features and functionality, and assist with data imports/exports, data integrity projects, or other requests.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate regularly with the Salesforce Business owner, IT solution team, and other stakeholders to ensure functionality meets field needs and to develop ongoing project plans.
  • System Expertise: Maintain at least high-level familiarity with other IT system/business application capabilities to make recommendations about potential upstream/downstream integration or functionality intersection points.
  • Liaison Role: Serve as a key liaison with IT technical resources, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • System Metrics: Maintain and communicate system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity.
