Job Description:

We are seeking an 8-month Analyst-Intern from January-August 2025 to contribute to business development and deal execution. The successful candidate will play key roles in generating new deals, organizing webinars, conducting preliminary valuations, and developing presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and generate cold prospects outside the Baker Tilly network
  • Preliminary Valuations: Analyze what drives value in private businesses
  • Presentation Development: Conduct industry research and data visualization
  • Buyer Due Diligence: Research and compile a list of strategic and private equity investors based on research
  • Quality of Earnings: Assist in creating QoE reports used by acquirers in financial due diligence

Requirements:

  • Relevant 3rd and 4th-year course work in accounting, corporate finance, marketing, and economics
  • Attention to detail and strong computer skills (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)

What We Offer: A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 CAD per year, depending on experience and qualifications, as well as opportunities for growth and professional development within our dynamic and collaborative team.
