Payroll and Benefits Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll & HR Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing expert payroll and benefits administration support to our 8 divisions in Canada and the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll and benefits processing/administration for our 8 divisions in Canada and the USA, and streamlining/integrating payroll processing across these divisions (50% of your time).
- Completing journal entries and submitting payroll tax information.
- Providing expert HR advice and guidance to hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Liaising with external HR consultants and employment lawyers as required.
- Completing recruitment functions and supporting the creation of new HR initiatives.
- Overseeing health and safety and ensuring information is up-to-date and adheres to relevant guidelines.
- Examining current processes to propose initiatives or solutions and assisting in driving these new processes forward.
Requirements:
- An excellent communicator with the ability to engage with others and communicate clearly and effectively.
- Organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Able to handle confidential information and maintain discretion.
- Experience in full-cycle payroll processing and benefits administration.
