Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and HR Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing expert payroll and benefits administration, as well as developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll and benefits processing for our 8 divisions in Canada and the USA, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, streamlining existing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to hiring managers on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with external HR consultants and employment lawyers as required, ensuring that our HR practices are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Support the creation of new HR initiatives, including recruitment functions and health and safety programs.
  • Oversee health and safety programs, ensuring that information is up-to-date and adheres to relevant guidelines.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience in full-cycle payroll processing and benefits administration, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
