Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Post Office Assistant. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell postal products and services to the business community and public, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Mail Processing: Sort, distribute, and process mail into appropriate classifications, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Customer Support: Address customer inquiries and resolve delivery and service difficulties in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High school or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration.
  • Experience: Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions.
  • Skills: Understanding of general or post office accounting systems, physical fitness to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb, and flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work.
