As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling postal products and services, and ensuring the efficient sorting and distribution of mail.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Customer Service: Sell postal products and services to the business community and public, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Mail Sorting and Distribution: Sort, distribute, and process mail into appropriate classifications, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Counter Services: Provide customers with information and forms, address delivery and service difficulties, and resolve problems thoroughly and quickly.
- Education: High school or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration.
- Experience: Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions.
- Skills: Understanding of general or post office accounting systems, physical fitness to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Availability: Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work.
