Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumber Foreman/Woman to join our team at Meridian West Mechanical Ltd. As a key member of our plumbing operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and lead a team of plumbers, gasfitters, and pipefitters to ensure timely completion of projects
    • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to improve productivity and product quality
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate and manage plumbing projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
    • Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project success
  • Operations and Maintenance
    • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
    • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all team members follow health and safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Plumber Trade Certification
    • Plumber Red Seal Certificate
  • Experience and Skills
    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a plumber or in a related field
    • Proven leadership and supervisory skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
