We are seeking a highly skilled High School Literature Teacher to join our team at the DuoWei Education Center. This is an excellent chance to work with students and help them achieve their academic goals.

About the Role:

This full-time position requires the candidate to prepare and administer tests, develop course content, and lead activities that promote physical, mental, and social development.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans for high school literature courses.
  • Assign and correct homework, ensuring students understand and meet expectations.
  • Prepare subject material according to an approved curriculum, making it engaging and interactive for students.
  • Administer and correct tests, providing constructive feedback to improve student performance.
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring assistance to struggling students, helping them catch up with their peers.
  • Teach through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and laboratory studies, creating a dynamic learning environment.
  • Lead students in various activities promoting physical, mental, and social development, including sports, arts, and community service.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to education.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and flexibility.
  • Organized, efficient, and dependable, with a strong sense of responsibility.

Work Setting:
  • The position requires on-site work at the DuoWei Education Center, with no remote work option available.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
