Food Services Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Services Manager to join our team at Gorugoru Food. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food services department.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and optimize our menu offerings.
- Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food products.
- Plan and organize daily operations, including inventory management and supplier negotiations.
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage events and ensure seamless execution.

- Assisting with immediate settlement needs, such as housing and transportation.
- Supporting social and labour market integration through access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
We are dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive work environment for Indigenous workers. As a Food Services Manager, you will:
- Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to Indigenous workers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations.
- Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees.
