Food Services Director

Gorugoru Food is seeking a highly skilled Food Services Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food services department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Revenue Management: Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
- Staff Performance: Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Operations Planning: Plan and organize daily operations to ensure seamless execution and maximum efficiency.
- Service Offerings: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to meet customer needs.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of food and supplies.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Event Management: Manage events and ensure that all logistical arrangements are made to meet customer expectations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in food services management.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, and support their social and labour market integration.
- Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, and develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities and organizations.
Language: English
Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
