Quality Assurance Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Director to join our team at mdf commerce. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish and enforce quality standards and testing materials and products.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Lead a team of quality assurance professionals in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage and direct the quality assurance team, including QA Automation Developers, QA Managers, and QA leads.
  • Develop and mentor quality assurance staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Engage in Agile Methodology ceremonies/sprints to inform appropriate data quality and testing considerations as part of acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with Scrum masters and Development team to ensure delivery of high-quality features.
  • Own and manage test assets/environments by partnering closely with the DevOps/platform engineering team in integrating QA automation into the CI/CD pipelines and test automation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of Software Quality Assurance hands-on experience in Automation Testing, Performance, and Manual Testing.
  • 10 years of experience managing a quality assurance team and experience building, growing, and mentoring QA associates.
  • Experience working with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Expertise in performing different types of Testing: Black box, GUI, Integration, Regression, Backend, System, End-to-End, and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Experience of DevOps in CI/CD and working with test environments.
  • Experience planning and executing end-to-end testing of multiple integrated systems.
  • Experience with multiple testing methodologies to ensure functionality, reliability, performance, and security.
  • Experience working with eProcurement systems.
