Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Community Liaison Specialist to join our team at The Métis Nation of Ontario.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires the successful candidate to work on-site at our physical location. As a Community Liaison Specialist, you will be responsible for building relationships with community members, promoting our services, and ensuring effective communication between our organization and the community we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community members, stakeholders, and other relevant groups;
  • Provide information and support to community members regarding our services and programs;
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of community events and activities;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and service delivery;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college diploma or equivalent experience in a related field;
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or industry;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
