Responsibilities:

* Identify clients\u2019 financial goals and objectives
* Plan, set up and administer accounting systems
* Supervise staff
* Train staff
* Analyze clients\u2019 financial records
* Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies
* Develop financial plans for clients
* Prepare reports and audit findings
* Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement and estate planning
* Prepare financial statements and reports
* Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
* Arrange for sale of financial products and investments
* Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirements
* Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure
* Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
* Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation
* Analyze financial documents and reports
* Examine accounting records
* Investigate possible unethical conduct or breeches of securities or commodity futures law
* Provide financial, business and tax advice
* Underwrite new issues of stocks and bonds
* Negotiate with corporations and government to determine the type and terms of new securities issue
* Prepare offering prospectus for new issues of stocks and bonds
* Negotiate mortgage loans and make application for mortgage to lenders or lending institutions on behalf of client
* Administer estate, personal, charitable, corporate and other types of trusts, direct trust account investments, receive and record investment income and disburse trust funds
