About Brevitas Consulting Inc

We are a dynamic and growing consulting firm seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
    • Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports as required.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping
    • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and other accounting records.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration
    • Process payroll and benefits for employees, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Manage employee benefits, including dental, disability, and health care plans.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Prepare financial reports and analysis for management, including budgeting and forecasting.
    • Identify areas for cost savings and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College diploma or degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a consulting firm.
  • Skills
    • Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
