Overview

KPMG in Canada is seeking a highly experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our practice, you will be responsible for helping our clients navigate the complex world of regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight and guidance to clients on governance structure, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Help organizations integrate compliance risk management into their processes.
  • Support senior management in transmitting the compliance culture to employees.
  • Assess risks across the organization and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective compliance programs to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Lead a team of consultants and ensure the quality of deliverables meets KPMG's standards.
  • Coach and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Act as a point of contact with clients to deepen existing relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, criminology, finance, business, or related field.
  • Master's degree in law or business an asset.
  • Successful completion of the Chief Compliance Officer Qualifying Examination or other equivalent designation an asset.
  • Knowledge of banking, insurance, securities brokerage, or asset management regulations.
  • Excellent French verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to produce concise and structured presentations and reports.
