About the Role

This Senior Manager will be responsible for providing oversight guidance to clients in highly regulated sectors such as banking, insurance, securities brokerage, and asset management. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance and a strong understanding of governance and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to produce concise and structured presentations and reports. They will also be comfortable working in a team environment, coaching and training colleagues, and contributing to business development activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight guidance to clients in regulatory compliance, including establishing governance structures, risk management oversight, and roles and responsibilities of stakeholders.
  • Help organizations integrate compliance risk management into their processes.
  • Support senior management in transmitting the compliance culture to employees.
  • Assess risks across the organization and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop service offerings according to practice standards and maintain a continuous awareness of emerging risks.
What You Will Bring
  • At least 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, criminology, finance, business, or related field.
  • Master's degree in law or business an asset.
  • Successful completion of the Chief Compliance Officer Qualifying Examination or other equivalent designation an asset.
  • Knowledge of banking, insurance, securities brokerage, or asset management regulations.
  • Excellent French verbal and written communication skills.
