Job Overview

The Airframe NDT Quality Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the NDT division, ensuring that staff are setting up and calibrating equipment, performing non-destructive tests, conducting evaluations of testing and/or inspections, and maintaining results in compliance with legislated industry codes, standards, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate resources to ensure outstanding work is completed within the required timeframe.
  • Provide direction, mentorship, and training to staff.
  • Work with Customers to ensure repairs meet expectations.
  • Foster growth and direct change to increase capacity, capabilities, and personal development.
  • Ensure quality procedures and policies are followed for a safe workplace and airworthy product.
Requirements
  • Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) Level 2 certification in NDT methods, Eddy Current Testing (ET), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT).
  • National Aerospace Standard (NAS) 410 Level 2 qualifications may be considered.
  • Excellent level technical knowledge and understanding of NDT techniques, services, and procedures.
  • Good financial management, budgeting, and vendor management skills.
Additional Information

This role requires working out of our North Bay head office. You must be eligible to work for a Canadian company and provide a clear Criminal Background Check.
