Job Summary

We are seeking a forward-thinking, creative, and experienced Mid-level Marine/Coastal Engineer with a strong background in engineering analysis and design of coastal and marine structures. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and evaluating technical documents, participating in client meetings, and coordinating with technical staff to utilize coastal resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis and design of marine and coastal structures, particularly on the Great Lakes and northern Canada
  • Project management including planning and monitoring of project scope, budgets, deliverables, and schedule
  • Developing and evaluating technical documents and participating in client meetings
  • Coordinating with technical staff to utilize coastal resources effectively
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Civil, Coastal, Marine Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • A minimum of ten years of coastal engineering experience in a consulting or contractor role with a specific emphasis on analysis and design
  • Strong interest in analysis, design, and implementation related to one or more of the following areas: coastal, port infrastructure, navigation and dredging, metocean, or ocean renewable energy
  • A minimum of seven years' experience managing projects
  • Experience developing construction documents including drawing sets, specifications, and cost estimating
