About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Salius Rehab Inc. as a Nursing Care Specialist. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals in a rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, including weighing, lifting, turning, and positioning patients.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Transport patients between care facilities safely and efficiently.
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and respond promptly.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate are required.
  • Nursing Aide Certificate and Health Care Aide Certificate are preferred.
  • Criminal record check is required.
