About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team at Balwinder Dhillon. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Transportation: Assist clients with transportation to appointments and errands.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in Panjabi is an asset.
  • Work Setting: Work in the client's home.
  • Security and Safety: A criminal record check and reference checks are required.
  • Transportation: Own transportation is required.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
