Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor

At Seasons Retirement Communities, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Supervisor. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care services to our residents, mentoring and guiding our care staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, utilizing the nursing process to ensure excellent outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor care staff, providing guidance and education to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care.
  • Conduct assessments of residents moving into our community and follow up with them throughout their stay to ensure their needs are met.
  • Establish priorities based on individual resident needs and ensure that care plans are implemented effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with resident assessments, service plans, and community-specific policies and procedures.
  • Manage risk by adhering to thorough monthly care-related audits and ensuring that medication administration is carried out safely and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with CLPNA.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations.
  • Experience working with seniors in a retirement or long-term care facility environment is considered an asset.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide care staff.
