Your Opportunity:

Alberta Health Services is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team in Wetaskiwin. As an LPN, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your excellent nursing skills to positively impact patient care. You will be part of an interprofessional healthcare team, working together to provide safe, quality patient-centered care.

About the Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients on the combined obstetrics and medical/surgical unit. You will work collaboratively with the interprofessional team to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal outcomes for your patient populations. You will also have the opportunity to impact the department's efficient process and contribute to a healthy Alberta.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
