Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at YARROW LIMITED PARTNERSHIP.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a nursing home/home for the aged setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and ensure infection control
  • Conduct specimen collection and monitor patients' progress
  • Apply aseptic techniques, including sterile dressing, and take vital signs
  • Monitor nutritional intake and consult with the healthcare team as needed
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Geriatrics experience an asset
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
