About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Design professional to join our team in Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing structural steel and concrete systems, creating 3D models and detailed drawings, and ensuring compliance with CSA and International standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design structural steel and concrete systems, including 3D modeling and detailed drawings
- Ensure compliance with CSA and International standards
- Support the continuous improvement of design systems and investigate new drafting techniques
- Participate in design reviews and advise on technical drafting difficulties
- Monitor project time and cost KPIs and ensure compliance with project execution plans
Requirements:
- Technical Design degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience in design/consultancy/operational environment
- 3D modeling experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar packages
- Metals and heavy industry experience an asset
- Shop detailing experience an asset
