Protective Asset Specialist

Loblaw Companies Limited is committed to providing an exceptional shopping experience for customers in Edmonton AB. As a Protective Asset Specialist, you will welcome customers as they enter the store and provide friendly service while responding to Asset Protection initiatives.
You will collaborate with other employees of the store to ensure a great customer experience and may be required to perform other duties as needed.

We are seeking candidates who possess excellent customer service skills, the ability to foster partnerships with store teams, and a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer support and service.
- Respond to Gatekeeper alarms and receipt checks as required.
- Assess safety hazards and take proper procedures to ensure customer safety.
- Evaluate crisis or emergency situations and escalate them in a timely manner.
- Maintain and submit daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.
- Perform all other duties as required.
Salary: Approximately $35,000 - $45,000 per year based on location and experience.
Requirements:
- Experience within a retail environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm in high-tension situations.
- Physical stamina to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- First Aid and CPR certification an asset.
