The role of Senior Director, Communications at UJA Federation of Greater Toronto offers a unique opportunity to develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy. You will play a key role in unifying and strengthening the community's voice through issues management, crisis communications, stewardship reporting, content creation, speech writing, and marketing communications.

You will be situated within the Integrated Development Department, reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Your expertise will be vital in identifying key stakeholders and crafting strategies to effectively address their needs and concerns.

This position demands exceptional leadership skills, including the ability to lead and manage a diverse team of writers and communications professionals. You must foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, ensuring each member contributes their expertise effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising communications, media relations, and issues management, preferably within a nonprofit or community-focused organization. A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is a plus.
