Job Title: Produce Department Supervisor

Westwinds Wholesale Cash and Carry is seeking a highly motivated and organized Produce Department Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our produce section, ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality products and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 produce staff members, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and rotated to minimize waste.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Assist in the sales and merchandising of produce products, including setting up displays and promoting seasonal items.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a produce department or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
