Job Title: Dump Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at NOREX VENTURES INC.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a dump truck to transport goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a dump truck to transport goods to various locations
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as needed
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license (Class 1 or A)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. The ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment is essential.
